The Red Double Knockout® Rose Tree is sure to turn heads! It is the same double knockout rose bush we know and love except pruned into tree form.

The rose tree comes with the same pest and disease resistance as all the Knockout and Drift Roses from Star Roses. It also boasts the same heat and drought tolerance qualities once established.

Bright, red rose blossoms flower all season long and continue to re-bloom all year if deadheaded regularly. This rose plant produces rich, cherry red to hot pink blossoms that will continue to grow until the first hard frost of winter. The bloom cycle starts in early spring. Roses will bloom from spring until mid summer before the weather gets too hot. They are fully double flowers on a rose tree bush.

Contrasting the vibrant red blooms is dark green foliage that will stay green throughout the year.

Red Double Knockout Rose Tree Care

The Knockout Rose Patio Tree comes in a 3 gallon container and measures 3-4 feet tall. It is perfect for keeping in a container for your porch or patio, planting in the ground as a specimen tree, or planted in groups.

Grow the cold hardy knockout rose tree in a pot across the United States in USDA hardiness zones 5-10. This low maintenance rose variety is not picky and will tolerate of a wide range of planting sites and soil types. Apply a thick layer of mulch to retain moisture.

Grow in full sun to partial shade for best results. You may experience fewer flowers if planted in a more shaded area. Moist, well draining soil is best to prevent root rot on the root systems. A slow release fertilizer will help give the flowering tree a good boost of nutrients if applied in the early spring.
