This cultivar’s fragrant, bright yellow flowers fade quickly to a pastel cream color and have double blooms continuously and proliferate. The sunny knockout bloom color stays more intense during cooler times but the golden yellow color stays year round.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF KNOCKOUT ROSES

Grow the yellow rose bush across the United States in USDA plant hardiness zones 5-10. It has great winter hardiness. The best time to plant a rose bush is in spring or fall.

Like the other KnockOut family members, the Sunny Knock Out Rose Bush has extraordinary resistance to common rust, mildew, and black spot foliage disease resistance. It is also drought tolerant once established.

Pruning roses should take place in late winter or early spring. Cut back your rose plants to about 1 foot tall. A planting site with an open area will help with air circulation and aids in the health of the plant according to Southern Living.
